Houseplant Horoscope 2022
Uniquely Analyzed and Predicted by Sarah Mayer
I don't know about you, but I love referring to my Zodiac sign when it comes to decision making! Decisions about birthstones, birth flowers, horoscopes and numbers, to name a few! The art of using Astrology goes all the way back to Babylon, almost 3,000 years ago, with the introduction of horoscopes and the use of constellations. Don’t get me started on constellations, they’re just amazing! Astrology is the practice of following the skies to make predictions about life here on Earth. Looking to the ether is inherent in the human experience and is the oldest guide for decision making.
Since early human history, we have observed the cyclical growing seasons of plants and the way that seasonal change can affect all things. Feeling sad with the loss of the sun, feeling the pull of the moon on the ocean tides, hibernation and weather. The Solstices and Equinoxes are a measure of the seasons of change and are reminders of this cycle. There are endless connections we have with the Universe; a strange relationship that can’t be ignored between plants and humans from an astrological perspective. We express the same elements and energies that in turn connect us with nature and the entire Milky Way.
Therefore, every person has a unique corresponding flora that expresses the same energy resonance and vibe in relation to the Zodiac. Some with positive energy and possibly some with negative. Combining plants with astrology, whether or not you believe in what the stars have to say, can be a fun tool in making choices.
Use my interpretation of the Zodiac to select a unique personalized gift for someone or for yourself. This can be a source when buying plants for your own home, and If you are feeling up to the challenge, try creating a Zodiac garden by displaying a plant from every sign. This is meant as a fun activity to explore your inner connection to this planet and the energy that connects us to Mother Nature around you.
